Have you ever wondered how spending Christmas abroad in College looks like? In this blog post, I share with you my vlogmas from 2020.
Spending Christmas Abroad
This year was particularly different from others. Mostly because of the pandemic, and also due to strict rules in France that prohibit gatherings from more than 6 people in a household. Nonetheless, it was one of the best Christmas I have spent in France.
I was so fortunate to celebrate it with my friends. Not only did we get to eat lots of food, but also talk for hours. Something that I have missed the most, given the fact that I live in a studio by myself. The only human interaction that I have is talking to friends via video chat, going to do my groceries, or saying “hi” to my neighbors.
What is vlogmas?
Vlogmas is a series of 24 daily videos filmed before Christmas. It starts on December 1st and ends on December 24th. It consists of Youtubers sharing their preparations for the holidays, Christmas activities like baking, buying Christmas gifts, and more.
This year, I decided to join the challenge with a little bit of a twist. As you might have read on my blog, I am currently in college and I have my finals in January. Therefore, most of my vlogs include me being a college student. This means to study all the time.
Let’s start the Christmas coundown!
